Coronation Badge Designed by QEGS Student

Matilda Bush, student at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, designed a badge for Horncastle Town Council’s coronation celebrations.

The King’s Champion Francis Dymoke, who lives locally, wore the badge designed by Matilda at the coronation on 6^th May 2023. Champion Francis Dymoke walked in the coronation procession and carried the Royal Standard into Westminster Abbey.

The badges were also given to every student at QEGS.
